1.0 INTRODUCTION<br />
In this course guide, you will be introduced to Human Computer Interaction (HCI) <strong>and</strong> its<br />
differences with other related fields. The goals <strong>and</strong> future development <strong>of</strong> Human<br />
Computer Interaction <strong>and</strong> the general concept <strong>of</strong> Human Computer <strong>Interface</strong> will be<br />
introduced.<br />

3.0 MAIN CONTENT<br />
3.1 INTRODUCTION TO HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION<br />
Human–computer interaction (HCI) is the study <strong>of</strong> interaction between people (users)<br />
<strong>and</strong> computers. It is <strong>of</strong>ten regarded as the intersection <strong>of</strong> computer science, behavioral<br />
sciences, design <strong>and</strong> several other fields <strong>of</strong> study. Interaction between users <strong>and</strong><br />
computers occurs at the user interface (or simply interface), which includes both s<strong>of</strong>tware<br />
<strong>and</strong> hardware, for example, general-purpose computer peripherals <strong>and</strong> large-scale<br />
