SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS:<br />

The report provides an assessment of the Trust’s performance mapped against the indicators which<br />

comprise the NHS Performance Framework.<br />

Service Performance (December and Quarter 3):<br />

There are 2 areas of underperformance during the month of December. These are A/E 4-hour waits and<br />

Delayed Transfers of Care. Actual performance is as indicated in the attached report. The overall score<br />

for the month is 2.57. There is 1 area of underperformance during Quarter 3, Delayed Transfers of Care.<br />

The overall score for the Quarter is 2.93.<br />

A score in excess of 2.40 attracts a PERFORMING classification.<br />

Financial Performance (December):<br />

The weighted overall score remains 2.90 and is classified as PERFORMING. Underperformance is<br />

indicated in December in 3 areas; Better Payment Practice Code (Value), Better Payment Practice<br />

Code (Volume) and Creditor Days.<br />

Foundation Trust Compliance Summary report:<br />

There was 1 area of underperformance reported within the framework during the month of December.<br />

A/E 4-hour waits performance was 94.0%. As such the overall score for the month is 1.0, which attracts an<br />

AMBER / GREEN Governance Rating.<br />

There were no areas of underperformance reported within the framework for the Quarter 3 period. As<br />

such the overall score for the Quarter is 0.0, which attracts a GREEN Governance Rating.<br />
