EMISSIONS AND INDOOR AIR QUALITY CHECKLIST<br />

The first step is to compile an inventory of all sources of emissions inside and outside the<br />

building. Then consider the following:<br />

✓ Are emissions from boilers and stoves monitored?<br />

✓ Is indoor air quality monitored?<br />

✓ Are appliances and equipment serviced regularly?<br />

✓ Are appliances over 10 years old being used?<br />

✓ Have complaints about poor indoor air quality been received from guests or<br />

employees?<br />

urban areas?<br />

✓ Is the air quality of the local environment considered to be good or bad?
