by the guide force moments. For 4�7 cylinder<br />

source and for larger cylinder numbers an<br />
X�moment <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> the major excitati<strong>on</strong> source.<br />
For engines with vibrati<strong>on</strong>s excited by an<br />
X�moment, bracing at the centre of the engine are<br />
of <strong>on</strong>ly minor importance.<br />
Top bracing should <strong>on</strong>ly be installed <strong>on</strong> <strong>on</strong>e side,<br />
either the exhaust side or the manoeuvring side.<br />
If top bracing has to be installed <strong>on</strong> manoeuvring<br />
side, please c<strong>on</strong>tact <strong>MAN</strong> <strong>Diesel</strong>.<br />
If the minimum built�in length can not be fulfilled,<br />
