The starting air of 30 bar <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> supplied by the starting<br />

air compressors (4 50 602) to the starting air<br />

receivers (4 50 6 5) and from these to the main<br />

engine inlet ‘A’.<br />

Through a reducing stati<strong>on</strong> (4 50 665), compressed<br />

air at 7 bar <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> supplied to the c<strong>on</strong>trol air<br />

for exhaust valve air springs, through ‘B’.<br />

Through a reducing valve (4 50 675) <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> supplied<br />

compressed air at 0 bar to ‘AP’ for turbocharger<br />

cleaning (soft blast) , and a minor volume used for<br />

the fuel valve testing unit.<br />

Starting air and c<strong>on</strong>trol air for the GenSets can be<br />

supplied from the same starting air receivers, as<br />

for the main engine.<br />

Please note that the air c<strong>on</strong>sumpti<strong>on</strong> for c<strong>on</strong>trol<br />

air, safety air, turbocharger cleaning, sealing air<br />

for exhaust valve and for fuel valve testing unit are<br />

momentary requirements of the c<strong>on</strong>sumers.<br />
