D<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>patch Pattern<br />
The relevant engine supplier <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> resp<strong>on</strong>sible for the<br />
actual executi<strong>on</strong> and delivery extent. As differences<br />
may appear in the individual suppliers’ extent<br />
and d<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>patch variants.<br />
Class A (opti<strong>on</strong> 4 12 020):<br />
Short d<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>tance transportati<strong>on</strong> limited by durati<strong>on</strong><br />
of transportati<strong>on</strong> time within a few days or a d<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>tance<br />
of approximately 1000 km and short term<br />
storage.<br />
Durati<strong>on</strong> from engine delivery to installati<strong>on</strong> must<br />
not exceed eight weeks.<br />
D<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>mantling must be limited.<br />
Class B (opti<strong>on</strong> 4 12 030):<br />
Overseas and other l<strong>on</strong>g d<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>tance transportati<strong>on</strong>,<br />
as well as l<strong>on</strong>g-term storage.<br />
D<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>mantling <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> effected to reduce the transport<br />
volume to a suitable extent.<br />
L<strong>on</strong>g-term preservati<strong>on</strong> and seaworthy packing<br />
must always be used.<br />
Classes A + B compr<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>e the following basic<br />
variants:<br />
A1 + B1 (opti<strong>on</strong> 4 12 021 + 4 12 031)<br />
Engine complete, i.e. not d<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>assembled<br />
A2 + B2 (opti<strong>on</strong> 4 12 022 + 4 12 032)<br />
• Top <str<strong>on</strong>g>secti<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g> including cylinder frame complete,<br />
cylinder covers complete, hydraulic cylinder<br />
units, scavenge air receiver including cooler<br />
box and cooler insert, turbocharger(s), p<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g>t<strong>on</strong><br />
rods complete, galleries with pipes, gearbox<br />
for hydraulic pump stati<strong>on</strong>, hydraulic pump stati<strong>on</strong><br />
with filter unit and electr<strong>on</strong>ic engine c<strong>on</strong>trol<br />
comp<strong>on</strong>ents<br />
• Bottom <str<strong>on</strong>g>secti<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g> including bedplate complete,<br />
frame box complete, c<strong>on</strong>necting rods, turning<br />
gear, crankshaft complete and galleries<br />
• Remaining parts, stay bolts, auxiliary blowers,<br />
