Note:<br />

When calculating the tank heights, allowance has<br />

not been made for the possibility that part of the<br />

oil quantity from the system outside the engine<br />

may, when the pumps are stopped, be returned to<br />

the bottom tank. If the system outside the engine<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> so designed that a part of the oil quantity<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> drained back to the tank when the pumps are<br />

stopped, the height of the bottom tank indicated<br />

<strong>on</strong> the drawing <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> to be increased to th<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> additi<strong>on</strong>al<br />

quantity.<br />

If space <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> limited other proposals are possible.<br />
