Further custom<strong>is</strong>ed information can be obtained

Application System’, by means of which specific
calculations can be made during the project

• Propeller calculation and power prediction
• Selection of main engine

• Layout/load diagrams of engine
• Maintenance and spare parts costs of the engine
• Total economy – compar<strong>is</strong>on of engine rooms
• Steam and electrical power – ships’ requirement
• Auxiliary machinery capacities for derated engine
• Fuel and lube oil consumption – exhaust gas
data
• Heat d<strong>is</strong>sipation of engine
• Util<strong>is</strong>ation of exhaust gas heat
• Water condensation separation in air coolers
• No<strong>is</strong>e – engine room, exhaust gas, structure
borne
• Preheating of diesel engine
• Util<strong>is</strong>ation of jacket cooling water heat, fresh
water production
• Starting air system
• Exhaust gas back pressure
