Crankcase venting<br />

The engine crankcase <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> vented through ‘AR’<br />

through a pipe extending directly to the deck. <str<strong>on</strong>g>Th<str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g></str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

pipe has a drain arrangement that permits oil c<strong>on</strong>densed<br />

in the pipe to be led to a drain tank, see<br />

fig. 8.0 .0 .<br />

Drains<br />

Drains from the engine bedplate ‘AE’ are fitted <strong>on</strong><br />

both sides of the engine, see fig. 8.08.0 .<br />

From the engine the oil collects in the oil pan from<br />

where it <str<strong>on</strong>g>is</str<strong>on</strong>g> drained off to the bottom tank.<br />
