(x) Expert's opinion on each original book, in the prescribed Proforma as at Annexure 'A' should be forwarded<br />
to the Department of Official Langauge. It is imperative that the experts are well versed in Hindi Terminology<br />
of the subject concerned and possess sound knowledge of Hindi Language. An expert can be a non-official<br />
person such as a retired officers or a working professor etc. of a University/Engineering/Medical Institutions.<br />
Claims regarding honorarium for the evaluation of Books, if any, should be submitted to the Administrative<br />
Head of the concerned Ministry/Department/Organisation and not to the Department of Official Language.<br />
4. The following three pr<strong>iz</strong>es will be awarded under the scheme:—<br />
First Pr<strong>iz</strong>e — Rs. 20,000/-<br />
Second Pr<strong>iz</strong>e — Rs. 16,000/-<br />
Third Pr<strong>iz</strong>e — Rs. 10,000/-<br />
5. Books are evaluated by a committee, which comprises two non-official members besides the representatives of the<br />
Department of Official Language.<br />
6. All entries must reach this Department latest by 29 July, 2005. Entries received after the prescribed date shall not<br />
be entertrained.<br />

8. The Ministries/Departments are requested to circulate this scheme of writing original books in Hindi to all their<br />
Attached/Subordinate offices, Undertakings, Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions, Universities and Educational/<br />
