Subject:— Updating of Inspection Proforma regarding progressive use of Official Language Hindi in respect of Ministries/<br />
Departments and their attached/subordinate offices/undertakings etc.<br />
The Department of Official Language conducts inspections of various Ministries/Departments and their attached/<br />
subordinate offices/undertakings etc. from time to time with a view to assess the progressive use of Hindi for their official<br />
purpose. The inspection proforma has been suitably amended to maintain uniformity and comprehensiveness for filling up<br />
information during inspections. For this purpose, separate proformas are to be used by Ministries/Departments and their<br />
attached/subordinate offices, as well as undertakings etc. (A set of each of the proforma is enclosed herewith).<br />
2. All the Ministries/Departments are requested to furnish the information required during their inspections by the<br />
officers of the Department of Official Language only in these forms. They are also requested to issue necessary instructions<br />
to their attached subordinate offices, in this regard.<br />
3. A copy of the orders issued in this regard may be endorsed to this Department. The HINDI VERSION of this O.M.<br />
has already been issued on 26.3.1993.<br />
