Subject:— Modification in the proforma for the Quarterly Progress Report regarding progressive use of Hindi in Banks and<br />
Financial Institutions.<br />
In continuation of O.M. No. 20003/1/92-OL(B-II) dated 19.6.1992 and 29.9.1992 of Department of Official Language, it<br />
is intimated that certain changes have been made in the proforma of quarterly progress report regarding progressive use of<br />
Hindi in Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions. A copy of the revised proforma is enclosed. This proforma will be<br />
effective from the quarter commencing from 1.4.96. It is requested that only this proforma should be used in future while<br />
sending the quarterly progress reports for the quarter ending on 30.6.96 and onwar<strong>ds</strong>. This proforma is also being made<br />
available on NIC-NET.<br />
The above modified proforma will be applicable to all offices of Banks and financial institutions. Hence, Banking<br />
Division is requested to circulate the revised proforma to the Headquarters/Offices/Branches of all Banks. A copy of the<br />
directions issued in this regard may also be sent to this Department.<br />
This proforma is being issued with the approval of Secretary, Department of Official Language.
