Aneks 9 – Pembuatan Radiofarmakaa) Diperlukan fasilitas yangdilengkapi perisai untukmenyimpan sampel radioaktif;b) Pengumpulan limbah radioaktifhendaklah dipisahkan dari limbahnonradioaktif <strong>dan</strong> diberi perisaitimbal;c) Pemantauan personil Personalia radiasi yangmenangani bahan radioaktifdalam bentuk serbuk atau gas,besar kemungkinan terkenaradioaktivitas pada tubuhmelalui pernafasan <strong>dan</strong> mulut.Paparan radiasi akibatradionuklida yang tersimpan didalam tubuh personilhendaklah ditentukan secaraperiodik dengan carapencacahan seluruh tubuh(whole body counting) ataupemantauan ekskreta sepertipada air seni (denganpenetapan kadar secarabiologis –bioassay-) ataudengan cara pemindaianterhadap organ khusus; Bila terjadi kecelakaan yangmengakibatkan lingkunganlaboratorium terkontaminasisecara luas, hendaklah diambildari personil sampel air seniuntuk segera dianalisis. Selainitu seluruh personil yangmenangani bahan radioaktifdalam bentuk serbuk atau gashendaklah diminta mengikutipencacahan seluruh tubuhterhadap sinar gamma <strong>dan</strong>aktinida dalam paru-parupaling sedikit satu kali dalamsetahun atau bila diperlukandilihat dari sudut keamanan;d) Pemantauan radiasi hendaklahdilakukan selama pemrosesanberlangsung; <strong>dan</strong>e) Dalam hal terjadi kontaminasi,langkah seperti yang diuraikandalam prosedur proteksiterhadap radiasi harusdilaksanakan. Lihat paragrafProteksi Radiasi <strong>dan</strong>Keselamatan, Butir 148.Annex 9 – Manufacture ofRadiopharmaceuticalsa) Shielded facilities for storage ofradioactive samples are necessary;b) Radioactive waste should becollected separately from nonradioactivewaste and provided withlead shielding;c) Personnel monitoring Those radiation workersperforming operations withradioactive materials in powder orgaseous form are more likely toget radioactivity incorporated intotheir body by inhalations andingestion etc. The radiationexposure due to internallydeposited radionuclide should bedetermined periodically by eitherwhole body counting or monitoringof excreta such as urine(bioassay) or by scanning aparticular organ; In case of an incident resulting inwidespread contamination oflaboratory environment, theworker should be asked to provideurine sample for immediateanalysis. In addition, all theworkers handling radioactivematerial in powder or gaseousform should be required toundergo whole body counting forgamma emitters and for actinidesin the lungs at least once a year oras and when deemed necessaryfor safety point of view;d) Radiation monitoring should be doneduring the processing operation; ande) In case of contamination, steps asdescribed under radiation protectionprocedures must be adopted.
