If any of these conditions are true...Web Authorizer USB ConfigurationThe Web Authorizer must use a static IP address.The CyberAudit-Web server can only be reached with a domain name or it cannot bereached on the default https:// port 443.A proxy server is required to reach the CyberAudit-Web server....then the Web Authorizer must be configured using a USB Flash Drive.1. Edit the configuration settings for the WebAuthorizer as needed. Save the settings. Thenclick on the "Generate USB Configuration Script"link.2. Save the generated .tar.gz file onto a USB FlashDrive. Before removing the USB Flash Drive fromthe computer, check the files to be sure that thelatest .tar.gz file is on the stick without anappended version number. If not, delete all .tar.gzfiles from the USB Flash Drive and save the filesagain. Then remove the USB Flash Drive fromthe computer and take it to the Web Authorizer.Insert it into either recessed USB port on the WebAuthorizer. If the USB Flash Drive does notdirectly fit into the recessed opening, use anextension as shown in the picture.(Note: A Web Authorizer normally ships with 1of its 2 USB ports covered.)
3. With the USB Flash Drive inserted, unplug thepower cable from the Web Authorizer, wait 3seconds, and re-insert it. After starting up, the WebAuthorizer will update itself from the USB FlashDrive and load the new configuration. When this ishappening, LEDs 1 and 2 flash in unison. Whenloading is completed, the flashing stops and theUSB Flash Drive may be removed. When LED 1flashes once every 4 seconds the Web Authorizeris back to normal operations.The only limit to the number of configurations thatmay be carried by a USB Flash Drive is theamount of memory on the Flash Drive.
