How to Issue a CyberKey to a Person1.From the "People List" page, click the row of the person the key will be assigned to and choose "Properties."2. There are five options for assigning a CyberKey:No key - The person has no key assigned to them.Issue key by number - An issue number is assigned to this person. The first time the key given to theperson makes contact with the database, the issue number must be entered for the key to be updated. Thisallows the administrator to grab any unassigned key and give it to a person. After configuration, the issuenumber will be replaced by the key's serial number in the "People Properties" page.Enter key serial number - Manually entering the serial number of the key will allow the person to update thekey the first time without needing an issue number. Use this method only if that specific key is being givento the person.Enter vault access number - A vault access number may be used with a Flex System Vault and a KeypadDisplay or a Knob and Display.Issue RFID Access Card - An RFID access card may be used at a Flex System Vault or a Single Key Vaultin lieu of issuing a CyberKey. Any RFID reader in the system may be used to read the card ID and enter itinto the system. When prompted, it will read and store any card ID that is not already in the system. Or thecard ID may be entered manually from the keyboard.
