Flex System Demo ModeDemo Mode enables demonstrating basic functionality of a Flex System Hub. Any recognizedinput to an RFID reader or a data knob will cause the Flex Hub to open the Weatherized Vault. If there are more than one output devices, it alternates opening them. A Flex System Hub isin Demo Mode when new as shipped from the factory.Demo Mode may be toggled from Flex System Hub properties. To switch to demo mode,select Flex Hubs from the Communicators menu to bring up the Flex System Hubs list. Hoverover the desired Flex Hub record and select Properties from the click menu. In the Generalsection Edit Flex Hub properties page, check on Use Demo Mode. Click Save. If the FlexSystem Hub is online CyberAudit-Web will update it at the next communications. Otherwise itmay be updated using the USB flash drive method.Demo Mode does not change the Flex Hub's network settings so the Flex Hub will continue tocheck in with CyberAudit-Web during Demo Mode. While the Flex System Hub is in DemoMode, module settings may not be modified.
Using CyberKeys with Flex System Weatherized VaultsThe Weatherized Vault enables people to check out a CyberKey programmed with a mission.Each Flex System Hub keeps a list of "valid" CyberKeys it may use for issuing missions. Thatlist comes from CyberAudit-Web. If a CyberKey is not a member of that list, the Flex SystemHub will not use that key to program a mission.There are two ways to assign CyberKeys to a Flex Hub;<strong>Manual</strong> Assignments - The list of valid CyberKeys for a Flex Hub may be edited byselecting Keys from the Flex Hub listing page click menu. CyberKey serial number IDsmay be individually added to or removed from the list. The number of Key IDs is limited tothe number of Weatherized Vaults in the system.Automatic Assignments - If an unknown CyberKey is inserted in a Weatherized Vault,the Flex Hub sees it as an invalid key and reports it to CyberAudit-Web. CyberAudit-Webwill automatically add the CyberKey ID to the list of valid keys if:The key ID is not issued to another personThe key ID is not associated with another Flex Hub or VaultThe CyberKey is not a Grand Master CyberKey or CyberLock ProgrammerThe CyberKey is recent enough to support multiple access lists (2005 and later)The number of CyberKeys assigned to the Flex Hub is less than the number ofWeatherized Vault Modules defined for the HubThe Flex Hub CyberKeys page displays an editable list of CyberKey serial numbers assignedto its Vaults. It also displays a list of the CyberKeys currently checked out and a list of anyinvalid CyberKeys inserted into the Vault.
