Working with Modem AuthorizersModem Authorizers may be used in place of network Authorizers where network service is notavailable. A CyberAudit-Web system uses one modem Authorizer to dial another. Hence thereare two types of modem Authorizer:Local Modem Authorizers - These Authorizers are connected to a network and arereachable by CyberAudit-Web. They are used to bridge communications from phonesystem to network and network to phone system.Remote Modem Authorizers - These Authorizers are located where networkcommunications are not available.The figure below illustrates the relationship and positioning of the two Authorizer types.
