CyberLock Cleaning InstructionsWith time, dirt or residue may accumulate on the face of a CyberLock.If foreign material builds up where a CyberKey makes contact with thelock, it may cause intermittent performance. Lack of good contactbetween key and lock is indicated when an authorized key (with a goodbattery) contacts a lock and the light on the key does not turn on.CyberLocks manufactured since the start of 2005 have a stainless steelcontact area. They can be identified by their silver color and 2 contacts.Please contact your CyberLock vendor for instructions on cleaningother styles of CyberLock.Clean lock face with brush.Cleaning Instructions: Use <strong>Videx</strong>'s stainless steel brush (part numberBRUSH) to scrub the nose and contact points in small circular motions.Do this for several seconds. Once the face and contacts of aCyberLock have been cleaned, they should be bright and shiny.Warning: Never scrape the contacts with a sharp tool, as this maycause damage.
