USB ProgrammersThe USB Programmer is a USB device which provides the ability to exchange information betweena CyberLock and CyberAudit-Web Professional or CyberAudit-Web Enterprise. In addition, it canload a programming job to download or program CyberLocks for use when the computer will beoffline. The resulting data may be uploaded to CyberAudit-Web later when the computer is backonline.Specifically, the USB Programmer can do the following:1.2.3.Add a new, unprogrammed lock to CyberAudit-Web. (requires permissions through a login andpassword)Program locks that require it either online or through a programming job.Download audit data from locks that are part of the current system via a programming job.Unlike with CyberLock Programmers, Grand Master CyberKeys, and CyberKeys, the number oflock downloads that may be done is not limited by the memory of a CyberKey.The USB Programmer cannot open CyberLocks.
Reset KeyA reset key is available for systems created by manually entering passwords for the lock accesscodes. When a reset key touches a lock in its system it clears the access codes and configurationsfrom the lock thereby resetting it to the original (unprogrammed) factory configuration. It does not,however, remove its audit trail data.A reset key can be made from any standard CyberKey.Because of its ability to open any lock in the system and clear the access codes, a reset keyshould be kept in a secure location.
