1.2.What is a "Valid" CyberKey for a Single CyberKey Vault?A valid key for a Single CyberKey Vault is one that is allowed to be inserted while the Vault ison line with CyberAudit-Web. If a CyberKey is found to be "Invalid", CyberAudit-Web willcause the Vault to siren with alternating high-low tones and alternately flash the Busy and KeyPresent LEDs.Vault property settings include two choices that determine a valid key:Same - key must be returned to the same Vault. This setting might be chosen whenThere is only one Vault in a location and you want some assurance that when a keyis checked out of the Vault it will be returned to the same Vault. The vault holds a ring of one or more mechanical keys and you have labeled theVault to indicate the Key Ring it holds. In Same mode, only one CyberKey is considered 'valid'.Shared - keys may be returned to any Vault. This setting might be chosen whenThere are multiple Vaults in the same general location and it doesn't matter whichVault gets the returned key.Additional notes:Each card swipe is treated as a separate transaction and completely processed before thenext card swipe is processed.CyberAudit-Web will ensure that a Vault's CyberKey is disabled following any RFID accesscard scan where the card does not have permissions to get the key.Vaults do not program invalid keys, even when the keys are known by the system. Forexample if Joe Brown has an issued CyberKey, the Vault will not download and update it.
