Number of Code Enforcement Board Hearings 12.00 12.00 12.00HighlightsBuilding and Zoning Compliance is responsible for enforcement of Chapter 72, Article II, Zoning and the Florida Building Code. Buildingand Zoning Compliance responds to all building, zoning and related complaints received in the unincorporated areas of Volusia County.This section reviews and enforces the Outdoor Entertainment Event permits, Host Itinerant Merchant Licenses and temporarycampgrounds during Special Events in the unincorporated County. This section also administers sign regulations and lot maintenanceregulations, and serves as staff to the Code Enforcement Board and the Special Magistrate. Revenues of approximately $200,000 aregenerated from Code Enforcement fines, sign permits and maintenance fees. One position was transferred to the Marine ScienceCenter to address staffing needs.Volusia County Section F - 40
