Initiate engineering, flood plain study, and Beville Road intersection improvementsHighlightsAs part of the ongoing master planning for the airport acreage on the south side of the runways adjacent to Beville Road, an opportunityexists to create a signalized intersection. This intersection will be opposite the East Gate of the Pelican Bay Residential community andadjacent to the City of Daytona Beach Fire Station on the North side of Beville Road. While no firm plans exist for the development of the airport acreage, and no infrastructure improvements (water, electric, sewer) areplanned, the location of this intersection will be crucial in any future development. It will provide access to the interior of the DaytonaBeach International Airport (DBIA) property, as well as allow connectivity to Bellevue Avenue on the north, and the opportunity toextend Hancock Boulevard from the east. The intersection improvements will complement the planning for the airport property. It will also allow a base to develop a plan for theultimate development along the north side of Beville Road as an attractive planned gateway to the City of Daytona Beach.Volusia County Section F - 130
