Stewart is, I think, a kind of neo-realist. In terms of justifications for objectivity, many<br />

of these do not stand up in this kind of study. I think here of Ewing’s critique of what is<br />

not revealed in interviews. This study is a site for theorisation that can, in this<br />

methodology, at least initially only be carried out by the participating-and-observing<br />

researcher.
