is recommending, but that's because <strong>of</strong> the nature <strong>of</strong><br />
what we're trying to do is to define trends and<br />
analysis over the life <strong>of</strong> the program.<br />
So this next slide is kind <strong>of</strong> focusing on<br />
that process. The way it used to work was we'd give<br />
the team the VE report after the VE study was done<br />
and by team I mean the OBO, in-house team that is<br />
putting together the project. In a lot <strong>of</strong> cases<br />
it's the planning team with design and engineering<br />
participation, along with cc. They get to review<br />
the report and then they'll make a determination<br />
which recommendations get implemented. Then coming<br />
back to me as a value engineer or to Angela now is<br />
the memo that says what the team is putting forward<br />
for acceptance <strong>of</strong> VE recommendations.<br />
Any delays or cost increases on initial<br />
costs go to the General with a decision memo to<br />
implement, especially if it's something that is<br />
going to save lifecycle costs.<br />
And now this is my opportunity for me to<br />
make a comment about the sustainable design. During<br />
the VE study, we will have sustainable design<br />
experts. I know Greg has been on teams before and<br />
he's got the background in sustainable design.<br />
Those are recommendations that do get forwarded, but<br />
