the architectural and the structural could not<br />
coordinate very well with the mechanical. The other<br />
issue gets into something where the government<br />
typically owns our documents, but what are you going<br />
to do with the documentation once you have it?<br />
Because we design every project, even if it is an<br />
SED, as a standalone project for a specific site.<br />

So we have that concern with the liability.<br />
Those <strong>of</strong> us that are small businesses, we know, just<br />
like CAD, this is coming. But if the government<br />
really thinks this is a great idea, we actually<br />
think that the government ought to be willing to<br />
step forward and help pay for the implementation <strong>of</strong><br />
this.<br />
MR. KNOOP: Well, and just to follow on<br />
that. You're going to get a bunch <strong>of</strong> files on a<br />
bunch <strong>of</strong> discs. Now, can you use them? You are<br />
also participating in this BIM process. So we need<br />
to make sure that when we take on something new like<br />
that, that we are working together in a partnership<br />
across the industry. And the value engineering<br />
exercise would be perfect to analyze how we can make<br />
that work together and establish a standard,<br />
communication standard, for that in the protocol.<br />
