Inventories conducted
Impacts on the natural environment
The proponent conducted vegetation inventories between August 18, 2004 and May 25,
2006. These have enabled identification of ten protected plant species in the area under
study (Table 17). The results also illustrate a degree of variability from one year to
another. The period during which the inventories were conducted as well as greater
sampling effort are arguments put forward by the proponent to explain the variation in
abundance noticed among rare plants.
