Use the cannula tunneling tip in every possible case. If the cannula
has to be tunneled with the aid of a tube clamp: proceed as described
below. Otherwise the cannula may be damaged.
The cannula tunneling tip is a sterile single-use product and is supplied with each
cannula in the appropriate size. Exception: cannulae with � 5 mm. Cannula tunneling
tips of both sizes are enclosed with staged cannulae.
