in the parameter table. Adjust the value with ↓,↑ or / , then confirm with

Note
• Condition of the blood pump(s) on connecting: Filled with sterile saline solution, with
the de-airing needle fitted. For easier handling after connecting the pump(s), the driving
tubes are not connected until after the inflow and outflow cannulae are connected to the
pump (see page 50).
Instructions
1. Open the red marked connector (univentricular) or both connectors (biventricular).
To do so, pull the seal plug out of the connector(s).
2. Connect the driving tube to the Ikus. To do so, insert the plug of the tube into the
connector. The plug snaps audibly into place. Check that each plug is firmly seated.
To do so, pull the plug above the ribbed plug body. Never pull on the tube!
3. During biventricular mode: Observe the colored markings.
4. During biventricular mode: Repeat with the second pump.
