TABLE OF CONTENTS<br />
1. Situation<br />
Briefly describe the situation the plan addresses. The related OPLAN or concept plan,<br />
as well as any other applicable OPLAN/AADP that may apply, should be identified as<br />
appropriate. Include a description of the conditions under which the guidance <strong>and</strong><br />
procedures in the AADP are applicable (e.g., the exercise, OPLAN, operation order, military<br />
operation, coordination between air <strong>and</strong> ground defense forces).<br />
a. Guidance. Provide a summary of directives, letters of instructions, memor<strong>and</strong>ums,<br />
treaties, <strong>and</strong> strategic plans, including any campaign/OPLANs received from higher<br />
authority, that apply to the plan.<br />
b. Enemy Order of Battle. Provide a reference to the intelligence annex of the<br />
governing plan <strong>and</strong>/or a top-level summary of pertinent intelligence data, including<br />
information on the following:<br />
(1) Composition, location, disposition, movements, <strong>and</strong> strengths of major enemy<br />
forces that can influence action in the operational area.<br />
COAs.<br />
(2) Definition of threat axes, DCA operations, known WMD, <strong>and</strong> estimated enemy<br />
(3) Known IPB for the operational area.<br />
(4) Enemy vulnerabilities, COGs, <strong>and</strong> decisive points.<br />
c. Friendly Order of Battle. State information on friendly forces assigned.<br />
(1) Describe friendly AD forces, including C2, aircraft (including counterair,<br />
reconnaissance, surveillance, <strong>and</strong> support), location of SAM units, <strong>and</strong> support forces.<br />
(2) Describe missile defense forces, including those with both AMD capabilities.<br />
