The log will record the date, name, company or agency, and timeentering or exiting the site.No visitor will be allowed in the EZ without showing proof of training and medicalcertification. Visitors will supply their own boots and respiratory equipment, if required.Visitors will attend a site orientation given by the SSO and sign the HASP.4.5 GENERALThe following items are requirements to protect the health and safety of workers and will bediscussed in the safety briefing prior to initiating work on the site.lEating, drinking, chewing gum or tobacco, smoking, or any practice thatincreases the probability of hand to mouth transfer and ingestion ofcontamination is prohibited in the EZ and CRZs.lAll personnel exiting the exclusion zone or the contamination reduction zone,must at a minimum, thoroughly wash their face and hands.lA buddy system will be used. Hand signals will be established to maintaincommunication.lDuring site operations, each worker will consider himself as a safety backup tohis partner. Off-site personnel provide emergency assistance. All personnelwill be aware of dangerous situations that may develop.lVisual contact will be maintained between buddies on site when performinghazardous duties.lNo personnel will be admitted to the site without the proper safety equipment,training, and medical surveillance certification.lAll personnel must comply with established safety procedures.
