This should, at aminimum, be established on a yearly basis. MDL is the minimum concentration of a substancethat can be identified, measured, and reported with 99% confidence that the analyteconcentration is greater than zero.Practical quantitation limit (PQL) is the lowest level that can be reliably determined withinspecified limits of precision and accuracy during routine laboratory operating conditions. ThePQLs are generally 5-10 times the MDL.
