9.0 TRAINING REQUIREMENTSAs a prerequisite to employment at OHM, all field employees are required to take a 40-hourtraining class and pass a written examination. This training covers all forms of personalprotective equipment, toxicological effects of various chemicals,hazard communication,bloodborne pathogens, handling of unknown tanks and drums’ confined-space entryprocedures, and electrical safety. This course is in full compliance with OSHA requirementsin 29 CPR 1910.120. In addition, all employees receive annual &hour refresher training andthree day on-site training under a trained experienced supervisor. Supervisory personnelreceive an additional &hour training in handling hazardous waste operations.
