That subsection 1(1) of the Naturopathy Act, 2007 be amended to addthe following:“Prescription therapeutic product” has the same meaning as inthe Food and Drugs Act (Canada).2. That paragraph 5 of section 4(1) of the Naturopathy Act, 2007 berepealed and the following substituted:Authorized acts5. Communicating a diagnosis made by the member identifying,as the cause of an individual’s symptoms, a disease, disorderor dysfunction that can be identified from,i. the individual’s health history,ii. the findings of a comprehensive health examination, oriii. the results of any prescribed naturopathic examinations.HPRAC Critical Links January 2009
