434Chapter 18 – Summary of Proposals for Implementationaccordance with the terms, limitations <strong>and</strong> conditions containedin the Drug List.- It is a term, condition <strong>and</strong> limitation of a certificate ofregistration of any class that the member who performs aprocedure under the authority of paragraph 3, 5 or 7 of section 4of the Act must: (a) provide satisfactory evidence of successfulcompletion of a program that meets approved criteria; <strong>and</strong> (b)ensure the procedure performed does not exceed the level oftraining completed.- It is a term, condition <strong>and</strong> limitation of a certificate ofregistration of any class that the member who performs aprocedure under the authority of paragraph 3, 5 or 7 of section 4of the Act must ensure the procedure is performed inaccordance with any st<strong>and</strong>ards of practice established <strong>and</strong>published by the College from time to time.- The College shall develop, establish <strong>and</strong> maintain st<strong>and</strong>ards ofpractice for those procedures performed under the authority ofparagraph 3, 5 <strong>and</strong> 7 of section 4 of the Act.- The st<strong>and</strong>ards of practice referred to above shall be developedon the recommendation of the Naturopathy St<strong>and</strong>ards Committee.- For the purposes of the foregoing section, the College shallestablish the Naturopathy St<strong>and</strong>ards Committee referred to insection • <strong>and</strong> shall appoint the membership of the NaturopathySt<strong>and</strong>ards Committee, which shall include, at a minimum, one ormore a) members of the Council; b) members of the College(including practitioners <strong>and</strong> educators); c) persons who are not<strong>and</strong> have not been members of the College or of the Council; d)members of the College of Physicians <strong>and</strong> Surgeons of Ontario,approved by the College of Physicians <strong>and</strong> Surgeons of Ontario;<strong>and</strong> e) members of the Ontario College of Pharmacists, approvedby the Ontario College of Pharmacists.- The College shall post the following on its website:- The st<strong>and</strong>ards of practice referred to in the foregoingsection; <strong>and</strong>- A list of those members, who are authorized to perform aprocedure under the authority of paragraph 3, 5 <strong>and</strong> 7 ofsection 4 of the Act.8. That the regulations to be made under the Naturopathy Act,2007 (Professional Misconduct) including the following acts ofprofessional misconduct for the purposes of clause 51 (1) (c) ofthe <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Professions</strong> Procedural Code:- Contravening a term, condition or limitation imposed on themember’s certificate of registration.HPRAC Critical Links January 2009
