411Chapter 18 – Summary of Proposals for Implementationcoverage following registration <strong>and</strong> when requested by the Registrarfrom time to time. Such coverage shall satisfy the requirementsspecified in the st<strong>and</strong>ards of practice developed by the College.That once this is effected, section 94(1)(y) of the <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Professions</strong>Procedural Code be repealed.Addressing Transparency, Accountability <strong>and</strong> the Public Interest13. That the Minister make a regulation under section 43(1)(h.2) of theRegulated <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Professions</strong> Act, 1991 requiring each College to publishon its website on the Internet, without password protection, ascontemplated under section 3.1(1) of the <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Professions</strong> ProceduralCode, general information including, but not limited to:a. its role, responsibilities <strong>and</strong> accountabilities;b. its functions, programs <strong>and</strong> processes;c. the scope of practice of the health profession(s) it governs;d. the use of titles by its members;e. what constitutes professional misconduct for its members;f. how to access the public portion of the register;g. its audited financial statements;h. general <strong>and</strong> statistical information on its registration reviews <strong>and</strong>hearings, complaints reviews <strong>and</strong> hearings, discipline hearings,fitness to practise assessments, quality assurance assessments; <strong>and</strong>i. other information that the Minister specifies.HPRAC Critical Links January 2009
