450Chapter 18 – Summary of Proposals for Implementation1.9.1 Recommending or providing unnecessary services.1.31 Delegating an act set out in paragraph 1, 2 or 3 of section 4 ofthe Act except as permitted by the Regulated Health ProfessionsAct, 1991 or the regulations made thereunder or under the Act, ordelegating an act set out in paragraph 4 of section 4 of the Act.15. That section 3(1) of Ontario Regulation 297/96 under the Drug andPharmacies Regulation Act (General) be repealed and the followingsubstituted:3(1) In this section,“advertisement” includes an announcement, directory listing orother form of communication similar to an advertisement;“prescription services” means the prescribing, compounding,dispensing or sale by retail of drugs and the provision of informationor advice with respect to those drugs.16. That paragraphs 3(4)12, 13 and 15 of 297/96 under the Drug andPharmacies Regulation Act (General) be repealed.17. That paragraph 9(1)(a) of Ontario Regulation 682 under the Laboratoryand Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act (Laboratories) beamended by adding the following:(iv.3) at the request of a pharmacist, in respect of a test specified inAppendix F.18. That Ontario Regulation 682 under the Laboratory and SpecimenCollection Centre Licensing Act (Laboratories) be amended by addingAppendix F.19. That paragraph 4(2)(b) of Ontario Regulation 683 under the Laboratoryand Specimen Collection Centre Licensing Act (Specimen CollectionCentres) be amended by adding the following:(iv.3) a pharmacist,20. That PART III – PERSONS PRESCRIBED TO ORDER TESTS of OntarioRegulation 207/94 under the Medical Laboratory Technology Act, 1991(General) be amended by adding the following:5. A member of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.21.
