402Chapter 18 – Summary of Proposals for Implementation• to monitor each College’s efforts in serving and protecting thepublic interest and in achieving its objects;• to inform the public on matters relating to health professionregulation and the public’s rights and recourses associated withhealth profession regulation;• to establish criteria, rules and procedures that must be followedfor the designation of a drug on the Drug List, and to publishthose criteria, rules and procedures on its website and in anyother format it considers advisable;• to designate drugs on the Drug List for a regulated healthprofession, with any terms, limitations and conditions associatedwith those drugs, and to remove or modify those designations orterms, limitations or conditions from time to time;• to keep, maintain and publish the Drug List; and• to bring to the Minister’s attention any other matter that requiresgovernment action.Requirement to provide informationFor the purposes of fulfilling its general functions and duties underthis Act, the Agency may require a Council to provide informationother than personal information to the Agency either in response toa specific request, or at regular intervals.Time and formThe Agency may specify the time at which and the form in which theinformation must be provided.Compliance requiredThe Council shall comply with every requirement to provideinformation under this section.Drug ListThe Agency shall keep, maintain and publish a Drug List.The Drug List shall set out,(a) the individual list of drugs that a health profession is authorizedto administer by injection or inhalation, prescribe, compound,dispense or sell within the class of drugs authorized to the healthprofession under the regulations made under its health professionAct;(b) the terms, limitations and conditions associated with thosedrugsfor the health profession; and(c) any other information or material the Agency considersHPRAC Critical Links January 2009
