405Chapter 18 – Summary of Proposals for ImplementationDutiesThe Secretary’s duties are,(a) to have the custody <strong>and</strong> care of the records <strong>and</strong> documents ofthe Agency; <strong>and</strong>(b) to carry out the functions <strong>and</strong> duties assigned by the Ministeror the Agency.ReportsThe Agency shall report annually to the Minister, <strong>and</strong> the Ministershall submit the report to the Lieutenant Governor in Council <strong>and</strong>shall then lay the report before the Assembly if it is in session or, ifnot, at the next session.SameThe annual report shall include,(a) a report on the work of the Agency;(b) any information that the Agency considers appropriateconcerning the activities of the Colleges in protecting the publicinterest; <strong>and</strong>(c) any information requested by the Minister.SameThe first report under subsection • shall be submitted in the firsthalf of 2011 <strong>and</strong> shall cover the period beginning on the day this Actreceives Royal Assent <strong>and</strong> ending on December 31st, 2010.Special reportsThe Agency may make a special report to the Minister at any timeon any matter related to this Act that, in the opinion of the Agencyshould not be deferred until the annual report, <strong>and</strong> the Ministershall submit the report to the Lieutenant Governor in Council <strong>and</strong>shall then lay the report before the Assembly as soon as reasonablypossible.No personal informationThe annual reports <strong>and</strong> special reports made by the Agency shallnot include any personal information.5. That the Regulated <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Professions</strong> Act, 1991 be amended by addingthe following after section 17:HPRAC Critical Links January 2009
