2008-2014 for >2 years (ETV group). We excluded patients
who developed HCC within the first year of enrollment. The
primary endpoint was the development of HCC, and secondary
endpoints were the development of cirrhotic complications
and mortality. Results As of Dec 31, 2014, we enrolled 1315
patients in the ETV group and 367 untreated patients before the
development of HCC. Compared to untreated group, patients in
the ETV group were significantly older and had more advanced
liver disease. The mean duration of follow-up was 7 and 4
years in the untreated and ETV groups, respectively. Compared
