GENERAL<br />
Suspended Ceiling <strong>System</strong>s<br />
Demonstrate that all suspended ceiling systems comply<br />
with the requirements of BS EN 13964: 2004 section 4.5,<br />
in relation to asbestos (no asbestos) and formaldehyde<br />
content (which must meet class E1 at a minimum and be<br />
tested, classified and appropriately marked).<br />
Non-Suspended Ceiling <strong>System</strong>s<br />
Comply with the requirements listed in LBi-2.1 for any<br />
Adhesives and Sealants.<br />
Comply with the requirements listed in LBi-2.2 for any<br />
Paints and Coatings.<br />
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT/CLARIFICATIONS<br />
Permission to reproduce extracts from BS EN<br />
13964: 2004 is granted by BSI*<br />
For any wood based paneled ceilings, comply with the requirements of BS EN 13986:2004<br />
in relation to limits and testing requirements for formaldehyde VOC content (which must<br />
meet class E1 at a minimum) and do not exceed 5 parts per million (ppm) for<br />
Pentachlorophenol (PCP) content.<br />

� Narrative describing all ceiling systems along with extracts from specifications for all<br />
ceiling systems and their components in relation to the project. Confirm that all<br />
components comply with the credit requirements.<br />
� Billing/purchase receipts for all aspects relating to the ceiling systems of the project;<br />
� Tracking sheet, signed by the construction managers for receipt of all products<br />
requiring compliance with the requirements; and<br />
� Material Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets for all products requiring<br />
compliance with the credit requirements.<br />
