GENERAL<br />

Demonstrate that passive design measures have been incorporated into the building<br />

design to reduce the external heat gain compared with the baseline building.<br />

Reductions in the annual external heat gain must be analysed and presented according<br />

to the procedure outlined within the Calculations and Methodology section.<br />

� 1-5 Credit Points: Points are awarded based on reductions in the annual external heat<br />

gain of the proposed building compared with the baseline as follows:<br />

� Graph and results table illustrating incremental reductions in the proposed<br />

building’s annual external heat gain (kWh/m 2 ) as outlined within the Calculations<br />

and Methodology section;<br />

� Drawings (section, plan and elevation) as necessary to fully describe all passive<br />

design measures integrated into the building design;<br />
