GENERAL<br />
3 Credit Points: Demonstrate that all landlord purchased and/or leased installed<br />
appliances achieve one of the following:<br />
� Energy Star accredited<br />
� A minimum A rating under the EU Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme<br />
� An appropriate level under a comparable rating scheme provided the appliance meets<br />
or exceeds equivalent level requirements under the Energy Star or EU Energy<br />
Efficiency Labelling Scheme<br />
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT/CLARIFICATIONS<br />
Provide guidelines for tenants (where applicable) outlining the benefits of energy<br />
efficient appliances, the sustainability goals that the building is aiming to achieve, how<br />
their purchases can contribute, and examples of the types of appliances the tenants<br />
may purchase.<br />

Demonstrate that all developer purchased and/or leased<br />
installed appliances shall be energy efficient, and that tenant<br />
guidelines outlining the benefits of energy efficient appliances<br />
will be produced.<br />
Construction <strong>Rating</strong><br />
Demonstrate that all developer purchased and/or leased<br />
installed appliances are energy efficient, and that tenant<br />
guidelines outlining the benefits of energy efficient appliances<br />
have been produced.<br />
� Summary list of all appliances to be installed in the building, including quantity and<br />
energy efficiency certification;<br />
� Extracts from specifications detailing appliance energy use and proof of<br />
certification by Energy Star program, EU Energy Efficiency Labeling Scheme or<br />
equivalent; and<br />
� Draft tenant guidelines outlining the potential benefits of installing energy efficient<br />
appliances, along with examples of appliances which are appropriate for tenants to<br />
purchase.<br />
� Updated summary list of all appliances installed in the building including quantity,<br />
manufacturer and model;<br />
� Manufacturer information regarding appliance energy use and proof of certification<br />
by Energy Star program, EU Energy Efficiency Labeling Scheme or equivalent; and<br />
� Tenant guidelines outlining the potential benefits of installing energy efficient<br />
appliances, along with examples of appliances which are appropriate for tenants to<br />
purchase.<br />
