The following list is extracted from the published
fauna of the protura of Luxembourg (Szeptycky
et al., 2003). It corresponds to the sampling spot
"Loc. 47", situated in the study area in Berdorf,
Schnellert Forest.

Comments
The species found in Schnellert forest can be
divided into two groups:
1. Forest species: Acerentomon affine, A. brevisetosum,
A. gallicum, Eosentomon silvaticum
2. Eurythopic species: Eosentomon armatum, E.
stompi, E. vulgare
Two of them are rare:
Acerentomon brevisetosum (till now known only in
the type locality (France)
Eosentomon silvaticum (till now known only from
some localities in the Polish Carpathians)
The lack of data about the ecology and distribution
of Protura do not allow for the more precise
comments.
Eosentomon indeterm. belong probably to the same
species as determined specimens.
