5.1 Operating mode (from SW 2.0)<br />

In the ”positioning” mode (pos mode), 27 traversing blocks can be<br />

executed that are saved in the drive.<br />

The traversing blocks offer various possibilities for the block change<br />

enable (P80, P81) and the positioning type (P80.1: Relative or absolute).<br />

The following functions are possible in the ”positioning” mode:<br />

Referencing<br />

Flying measurement/actual value setting (from SW 1.4)<br />

Traverse to fixed endstop<br />

Linear/rotary axis<br />

Backlash compensation and correction direction (from SW 1.4)<br />

Jerk limiting<br />

Changeover, metric/inch<br />

Control sense reversal (from SW 1.3)<br />

Standstill monitoring<br />

Digital inputs/outputs<br />

Jogging without PROFIBUS and parameterization (from SW 1.4)<br />

Standalone mode (without communications via the bus) (from SW 1.2)<br />

Holding brake (from SW 1.4)<br />

Software limit switch<br />

Hardware limit switch (from SW 2.0)<br />

The factory setting is the ”positioning” mode!<br />
