5.2.1 General information on the ”speed setpoint” mode<br />

Description<br />

5 Description of the Functions<br />

For operation with a DP master, a speed setpoint can be cyclically input<br />

into the POSMO A 75 W / 300 W drives via PROFIBUS DP. The speed<br />

actual value is also cyclically fed back via PROFIBUS DP.<br />

The ”speed setpoint” mode is activated via P700 = 1 and de–activated<br />

via P700 = 2; however, only power–on is effective.<br />

The active operating mode is displayed in P930.<br />

If the factory pre–setting is downloaded, then the ”speed setpoint”<br />

mode is immediately de–activated and the system goes into the ”positioning”<br />

mode.<br />

Note<br />

Before changing the operating mode, the factory pre–setting should be<br />

downloaded using P970. This allows a defined initial status to be<br />

achieved.<br />
