AUDIT OBJECTIONS<br />

21.1 The accounts of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and its<br />

Various Subordinate/ Attached Offices are being audited by the inspection teams<br />

of the Director General of Audit, Central Revenues /Accountant Generals of the<br />

States at an interval of two years or more. As per available information, the total<br />

number of outstanding audit objections as on 31 December, 2008 was 151 as per<br />

office-wise breakup given below:<br />
