11.1.4During the current year, a web enabled module (CCA module) for Cadre Controlling<br />

Authorities has been designed and developed to facilitate online validation,<br />

verification and entry of details related to vigilance/disciplinary cases, central<br />

deputation and ACRs against the online application submitted by the nodal officer<br />

from Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCA). Also incorporated the feedback/<br />

suggestions received during the training for nodal officers of participating Services.<br />

Collectors / DM Information System<br />

11.1.5As per the request of Cabinet Secretariat, a system has been developed to collate<br />

the information related to IAS officers posted as Collectors / District Magistrates in<br />

various Districts during the last five years all over the country. From the information<br />

collected, average tenure of IAS officers as DM for each district, each state and<br />

national average has been calculated and submitted.<br />

RTI-MIS<br />

11.1.6 RTI Request and Appeal Management Information System (RTI-MIS) is an online<br />

web enabled centralized system developed by NIC, in consultation with Department<br />

of Personnel and Training, to enable an efficient and effective monitoring of Requests<br />

and Appeals by the concerned Central Public Authorities. An additional module for<br />

Deemed PIO has been incorporated in the System. A query based usage status<br />

module has also been developed and implemented in the Ministry’s website and<br />

RTI Portal to disseminate Top 10 Public Authorities which are using the RTI-MIS<br />

Software.<br />

Right to Information (RTI) Portal<br />

11.1.7As per the decision made by DoPT, RTI portal has been redesigned. The current<br />

layout of the portal has several new sections viz. RTI quiz, top ten users, RTI hand<br />

books. Further, several of the existing sections have been enriched with added<br />

contents. For instance, RTI Act is now made available in several Indian languages.<br />

The portal has now provided the links to the web sites / RTI pages of various public<br />

authorities under Government of India, besides links to State Government websites/<br />

portals. It also contains information on the PIOs belonging to various public<br />

authorities, key word based search option for searching RTI proactive disclosures,<br />

RTI Circulars, Links to “List of APIOs”, etc.<br />
