CADRE MANAGEMENT<br />
2.3 In the year 2008, meetings of the Cadre Review Committee were held to review<br />
the strength and composition of the following cadres participating in the All India<br />
Services:-<br />

Indian Forest Service<br />
(i) AGMUT (vi) Nagaland<br />
(ii) Kerala (vii) Orissa<br />
(iii) Gujarat (viii) Rajasthan<br />
(iv) Madhya Pradesh (ix) Uttarakhand<br />
(v) Manipur - Tripura<br />
2.4 The notifications have been issued fixing minimum tenure at various levels for the<br />
All India Service Officers of IAS cadre of the States/Cadre of AGMUT, Chhattisgarh,<br />
Haryana, Jharkhand, Manipur –Tripura, Nagaland, Orissa, Sikkim and Uttaranchal<br />
during the year 2008.<br />
CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2008<br />
2.5 In 2008, the Union Public Service Commission conducted the Civil Services<br />
Examination for recruitment to the following 21 services out of which 18 are Group<br />
‘A’ services and the remaining 3 are Group ‘B’ services:<br />
2.5.1 During the period 2008-09 a new Service in Group ‘A’ namely Indian Corporate<br />
Law Service has since had been incorporated in the Civil Services Examination<br />
Rules, 2009.<br />
