) Harvard Avenue<br />

Chapter 2 • <strong>Plan</strong> <strong>Description</strong><br />

Harvard Avenue is classified as a Primary Arterial from<br />

Edinger Avenue to Barranca Parkway. It is anticipated<br />

that the site may need to dedicate right-<strong>of</strong>-way to<br />

accommodate the widening <strong>of</strong> intersecting streets and an<br />

additional five feet along the west side <strong>of</strong> Harvard<br />

Avenue within the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tustin</strong> to accommodate<br />

sidewalks.<br />

4. Secondary Arterial<br />

a) Valencia North and South Loop Road<br />

Valencia North and South Loop Road is classified as a<br />

Secondary Arterial with two travel lanes in each direction<br />

and Class II bike lanes. Valencia North Loop Road starts<br />

at Red Hill Avenue and extends to Warner Avenue. South<br />

Loop Road extends from Warner Avenue to Armstrong<br />

Avenue.<br />

b) Armstrong Avenue<br />

Armstrong Avenue is classified as a Secondary Arterial<br />

with two travel lanes in each direction and Class II bike<br />

lanes from Barranca Parkway to Valencia North Loop<br />

Road.<br />

c) West Connector<br />

The West Connector is classified as a Secondary Arterial<br />

with two travel lanes in each direction and Class II bike<br />

lanes from Edinger Avenue to Valencia North Loop<br />

Road. The West Connector is the roadway located west<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>Tustin</strong> Ranch Road.<br />

d) Harvard Avenue<br />

Harvard Avenue is classified as a Secondary Arterial<br />

from Edinger to the railroad right-<strong>of</strong>-way.<br />

e) East Connector<br />

The East Connector is proposed to be classified as a<br />

Secondary Arterial with two travel lanes in each direction<br />

and Class II bike lanes from Edinger Avenue to Valencia<br />
