Section 13 Expanded Credit Hour Support - Functional Overview Section 13 Expanded Credit Hour Support - Functional Overview This section details SCT Banner Financial Aid modifications to support changes previously made in SCT Banner Student. Specifically, SCT Banner Financial Aid now supports programs and courses based on 100-point requirements and 100- point- based GPA calculations. SCT Banner Modifications Changes to support Expanded Credit Hour functions include: Grade Definition • Allowing Quality Points to be set up to 999.999. • Allowing Grade Numeric value to be set up to 999. • Allowing Grade Code to accommodate up to six positions (Example: XXXXXX). Individual Courses • Expanding the Credit Hours field to 9,999.999. • Expanding the Quality Points field up to 9,999,999.999999. • Expanding the Grade Code field to accommodate up to six positions (Example: XXXXXX). • Expanding Grade Numeric Value field up to 999. Term Summary Records • Expanding all Credit Hour fields to 999,999.999. • Expanding GPA fields to accommodate up to 999,999,999,999.999999999. • Expanding Quality Points fields up to 999,999,999.999999. based on 9,999,999.999999 from 50 individual courses per term.
